Sadie Thoma is an established marketing executive and creative business leader. She has a strong track record in: elevating B2C and B2B brands, demonstrating marketing as an economic multiplier, and sharing perspectives and actions that will provoke meaningful change to the industry (and beyond).
In her current role as Director of US Ads Marketing, Sadie and her team lead Google's US B2B strategy and activation, from messaging, thought leadership, and campaign/content development to marquee industry events and engagement. Sadie also oversees US Industry Marketing and Advocacy, shining a light on Google's commitment to and leadership on critically important topics from AI to Privacy, Measurement, Sustainability and more.
Prior to her role in Marketing, Sadie built and led Google’s US creative services organization, Creative Works, responsible for accelerating Google’s biggest client and creative agency/partner relationships and uncovering strategic collaboration opportunities to drive forward business and brand goals.
Sadie is dedicated to transformatively growing the business, the people, and the culture across her team and Google at large. She is deeply committed to increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the industry, as the Co-Chair of the Google Americas DEI Council, founding member of Chief, and a board member for the 4As Foundation.
Sadie joined Google in early 2011. Before Google, she held client management positions at creative agencies such as DMB&B, Ogilvy, and BBDO leading across multiple high profile pieces of business including Procter & Gamble, American Express, Tribeca Film Festival, and Bank of America among others.
Sadie holds a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University. She currently lives in Westchester, NY with her husband and three children.
