Kara has spent the last 12 years in shopper marketing and retail media related roles. She began her CPG career in Shopper Marketing at Dr Pepper Snapple Group in 2012 followed by 7 years in Shopper Marketing and Retail Media at Mondelez International before joining The Hershey Company in 2020. Previously having led Omnichannel Marketing for the Food Channel at Hershey, Kara now serves as Director of Strategic Investments & Omnichannel Operations on Hershey’s media team. Her team is responsible for serving as the Retail Media “center of excellence”, owning the Retail Media relationship with Hershey’s media AOR and Retail Media investment strategies. Kara has built a deep-rooted understanding of retail media and is passionate about continuing to drive retail media performance to anchor its position as an essential component of the media ecosystem.
