John Campbell is Senior Vice President, Entertainment and Streaming Solutions at Disney Advertising. In this role, Campbell oversees all Entertainment and Streaming solutions, in addition to Integrated Marketing, Multicultural and Inclusion solutions and Disney CreativeWorks solutions. He and his teams focus on developing strategic, innovative multiplatform solutions that create unique and custom opportunities for clients across Disney’s portfolio of brands to authentically and intentionally reach all audiences.
Before joining The Walt Disney Company, Campbell joined the National Geographic Society in 2007 as a Senior Sales Executive at National Geographic Traveler, quickly rising to Vice President, Global Partnerships and U.S. Publisher of National Geographic Magazine and the National Geographic Digital ecosystem. He worked closely with the Fox Network Group (FNG) teams across the globe to build and sell custom integrated programs and partnerships, around premium content, for like-minded brands to create new revenue opportunities across the portfolio. Campbell began his career as a Planning Supervisor for Mindshare North America and an Integrated Account Manager for Popular Science, Bonnier Corporation.
Campbell additionally serves as the executive sponsor for Project Elevate – Disney Advertising’s purpose-based initiative supporting underrepresented small businesses by amplifying and elevating their brands through mentorship and access to advertising resources. Committed to empowering and elevating the next generation of leaders, he is also on the Board of Directors for Advancing Diversity at MediaVillage.
