Steven (Steve) J. Maggio is an industry leader who has provided innovative strategy and creative for more than 200 nonprofits in his 30-year career. Mr. Maggio began his career in advertising, building a foundation of knowledge in branding and print, TV and radio. He switched to direct response with Hub Mail Advertising in Boston, working on Easter Seals, humane societies, USOC and public television. Steven then received what he calls his “Direct Response Doctorate” during his 11-year tenure at Epsilon, serving as creative director on American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, PVA, Memorial Sloan-Kettering, National Jewish Health, UNICEF and several Catholic dioceses. Since co-founding DaVinci in 2005, Mr. Maggio served national accounts DAV and MDA, as well as regional health care, humane society, social service and international relief nonprofits. Steve’s teams have won more than 250 awards, including DMA Echo, DMAW Maxi, DMFA Package of the Year and NEDMA Awards for Creative Excellence, including “Best of Show.”
