With 15 years of experience in the nonprofit industry, Amanda Lichtenstein has worked extensively in fundraising communications. She has created and implemented strategic communication plans, built robust stewardship programs and written, edited and designed fundraising and engagement materials – including emails, direct mail pieces, web pages, magazine articles, blogs, digital ads, social media posts and multi-million-dollar proposals.

Lichtenstein currently serves as the senior manager of fundraising content at Operation Smile, which leverages its experience in cleft conditions to increase access to safe surgery around the world. She helps to produce high-quality fundraising materials for the mass-market audience, sharing stories from patients and health care providers. Along with her team, Lichtenstein enjoys finding new avenues to reach current and prospective donors, connecting them to the organization’s critical work.
